What is a game show/ how does it work?
Questions have a correct answer and are assigned points.
Establish teams to compete. Teams can be designed in any
number of ways. Here are a few examples:
- Break your audience in to several teams (Sales Divisions,
Regions, Departments)
- Each audience member competes against each other or against
themselves
- Audience competes against a predetermined 'Expert' in
your Company or Industry
- When the pre-programmed questions are presented on the
video screen, participants enter the number associated
with their choice (1-10, A-E, YES/ NO, True-False).
Within seconds a result graph is displayed reflecting the
team or individual response and who scored points on the
question. Intermittently, throughout the game, a Team Standing
or Individual Standing screen will be displayed to show who
is winning. View the Sample Game Screens
Who Wins? The team or person with the most points. We will work with you to
design a format that is personalized for your audience and event message.
How does the Audience Polling System work?
For your convenience, we have put together a PDF
document to help you understand how our polling systems
work.
Can images, logos, graphs be integrated in to a question
or response screen?
YES. You provide ETI with your images and we will program
it in to your program. Logos, background images, pictures
for results graph or comparison graphs for use on the results
screen.
Can music be used during a polling session?
Yes. We have a large library of music that can be used
on both question and response screens. For example, we can
program music to play while the question countdown clock
ticks.
What is a countdown clock?
A countdown clock is shown on the question screen while
the audience votes. This is used to help your attendees vote
in a timely fashion. Music is often programmed to accompany
the countdown clock. During a session your presenter will
typically read the question and then say something like "You
have 10 seconds to respond, starting now".

As a Presenter or Facilitator where do I start?
The facilitator should provide a brief explanation of the
system before asking the audience to use it. For example:
- " The pads in front of you are part of a Group Response
System. Throughout the day, we will present various questions,
and ask for your input. We will then display a graph of
the group's collective response. The system is totally
anonymous, so please respond with your true feelings."
- " Using the keypad is an easy process. When the
question is presented, press the number associated with
your choice. It will appear in the keypad's display for
a few seconds, then extinguish."
- " If you change your mind, you can simply re-vote.
The system will record only your last response. However,
once the graph is displayed, responses are no longer collected."
NOTE: It is always desirable
to ask some warm up questions to familiarize
the group with the keypad operation. We suggest
that at least two questions be used. They should
be light-hearted, possibly roasting a person
familiar to the group, or toying with a recently
publicized event.
